An overview diagram of the entire Island
the Island is said to have been even bigger than Libya and Asia combined, situated Opposite the Pillars of Heracles, based in the Atlantic Ocean. Nowhere in the Critias is the Island's shape described by Plato. He does however say that it was made up of a hill surrounded by 2 zones of and and 3 of water in alternating succession. Every component equidistant every way from the centre as if done with tools or machinery.
of Timaeus 24e tr. Jowett of Critias 113d tr. Jowett
